Russians’ trust in Putin falls to lowest level since start of war, FOM survey finds

• 01Russians’ trust in President Vladimir Putin has fallen to 69%, the lowest figure recorded since the start of the full-scale war, according to a survey by the Public Opinion Foundation ( FOM ) conducted June 19–21 — shortly after the largest Ukrainian attack on Moscow.
• 02As the independent Russian business outlet The Bell notes, even during the mobilization in September 2022, after the retreat from Kherson in November 2022, and during Yevgeny Prigozhin’s mutiny in June 2023, the figure never fell below 74–76% in FOM surveys.
